Yep, we can’t leave those envelopes lying around, he chews the corners off. And sticky tape on cardboard boxes.
Oh that makes me feel a bit better - I thought he was a weird one-off. Now I know he is not alone! He also chewed up his own rabies vaccine certificate!

I’m up to page 45 of your thread (a lot to go!) and you have been talking about Mellie being curious. Lo and behold, Belle, my curious little one, then flapped up onto the seat next to me for the first time 😂 talk about timing!
That is so cool. It touches your heart doesn’t it. ❤

Ok, caterday pic... here are the siblings. We took in these two when our neighbor had to move and couldn't take them with her. She had raised them from kittens. After her husband passed moved across the street from us as a caretaker, then he passed and she was moving in with her elderly mother. They had already been mostly living at our house for months by then. Little did we know we would have to move 6 months later!

Once called little, that he isn't. They look so sweet together, that usually occurs after much hissing and arguing :p they are 14 years old.
They are beautiful.

On a chicken note I made it home ( rather the sun stayed up) just long enough for my girls to greet me as I got home from work.😊 I even managed to toss a couple of fresh grubs from under the cardboard I have out trying to kill the yucky grass.
It's a nice way to end the day.

Lots of talking and showing pictures. Mostly about our chickens but the odd cat, dog and cow have been known to appear.
ByBob tells us about his flock and their chicken politics and we all support each other and offer advice and hugs in a crisis.
There are regular posters on here from all over the globe. It is a worldwide virtual flock!
I could not have said it better. I'm going to save this for the next time I'm asked. Instead of answering, this time I read forward! Thanks! :thumbsup

A couple of other regular members of this little community are in PA - probably a couple of hours West of us. But we have people all over the US and in Canada, Australia, Spain and the UK. I think that more-or-less covers it. It is fun having the whole world - it is always summer somewhere for our flock! :lau
It is also always winter somewhere!

I may have read Alice in Wonderland but not much after that. We did study The Jabberwocky in English though.
I was willing to name my chickens from his writings though. Because Mrs BY Bob loved them so.

Jabberwocky, well that's obvious.
