Cillin is sick. He had a mild case of bumble foot a few months ago which Gloria treated. He's got another one now and it's infected. His pad is terribly swollen.
He's at the vets 6.30pm tomorrow.
It's amjor problem if he's sick. He ran away from Treacle this evening. Yesterday Treacle didn't challenge him. I think Gloria will have to operate and that means Cillin will have to be confined for a while and Treacle will be the boss. When Cillin returns there will be problems. Not at all happy about this.
Cillin has been as good as gold. I managed to get him out of the bamboo. It took a while. He's in with me for the night and has put up with lots of handling and inspections.
I know I post a lot of pictures of Treacle but Cillin has a place very deep in my heart.

But seriously, I hope Gloria can get him up and running around quickly. He's in good hands with both of you.

I’ve been having quite a bit of running at each other, hackles up and standing off beak to beak with Belle and Snow (my 2 11ish week old pullets)
I’m assuming this is them working out the pecking order after Big Bad Bokky (ISA hen)?
First time integration for me so observing and learning what these interactions mean. They are thick as thieves all day but then randomly one will flap along the ground at the other and start the ‘chest bumping’ almost.

@BY Bob and @LozzyR , I'm afraid I couldn't find a really good picture of Hubby's pink silk outfit.

Here is a selection spanning several years in the SCA anyway.
The masked ball. That's me in the brown, fur edged sideless surcoat and gold under dress. As you can probably tell, I went for a much earlier era than Lozzy.

Hubby is wearing his pink silk under the gold velvet cloak.

Who is this dashing young man?

Me. It's me in case you were wondering. Borrowed the outfit from a friend who was a very talented tailor.

This was my favourite feasting outfit. Made by my mother-in-law.

And a more recent photo. Taken about 22 years ago at the Rowany Festival, a four day camping event held over Easter.
