For starters avoid the little giant styrofoam incubators... they work but they are a pain in the butt! Looking back I would have gone for a brinsea or something similar, for my own purposes a small cabinet type incubator, but you could probably do with one of the much smaller models that are more reasonably priced. The price point, availability, and not knowing if I was going to fully commit to a lot of hatching at first was why I started with the LGiant one. Automatic turners are also a necessary thing IMO, as I can’t depend on myself for hand turning eggs on a decent schedule, and that would also open more possibilities for “accidents”Many questions now arise.
