Please don't put nail polish on any animal, had I known what was in nail varnish I would never have used it myself.

I threw the incubator here out shortly after taking over the animal care here.
I got told that none of the hens would sit. Ten years later it's hard to get any of them to stand!

I just love the run flap. Cracks me up every time. Especially when Hattie, my orpington does it. Her wings are kind of stubby compared to her body.

We see flappy stand talls everyday and flappy running from Janet a few times a week.

No. I’m not sure why but she always has since she was a chick. I have had her since she was two days old.

It seems to be worse under stress. For example, when she had fowl pox it seemed worse. And of course if she lands rough it is a bit worse for a day. But her feet are fine, no sores or bumbles or anything else.

She stands at a slight angle usually. I think she has a slight deformity maybe but I am not sure.

Keep a good eye out for pasty butt Alex, especially if you have them indoors.
Just sayin.

Thanks for the laugh I used to watch him when we lived in Louisiana and his stories would always make us laugh!!

And how perfect that I picked the one on Chicken Gumbo... I did not do that on purpose!
