Fine by me.May I join in the conversation? I know I post for FBF and Mugshot Monday, but I haven't really participated fully. I do really enjoy this thread![]()
@FransGran I may try organic castor oil later it works wonders for meWe have had intermittent hailstorm here today. They are all tucked together into their coop with straw to keep them warm.
I've just put olive oil of my girls wattles legs and feet.
That sounds fantastic. I would like to do that too. The trouble is finding a sunny enough spot in my yard. I think I may have planted too many trees and shrubs...We throw some out for the doves, and I give them to my girls once in a while. And yes, I have put sunflower seeds into my fodder. Chickens love them. We have wild sunflowers growing where they will be free ranging..we'll see if the plants get started even a fourth of the way this year. I love growing the giants. When the huge flower starts to drop, and the seeds are ripe, I break the head in half and put it out for the chickens. Lasts a while...weeks. These are very large and beautiful sunflowers I grow.
I will be using organic castor oil todayI think Betadine gel works better for foot problems.
It's a pity about the technical issues, but it was your first go.Thanks ACM! I had about 27 registrations but only about six people turned up... There seemed to be some issues with Zoom kicking people out and Eventbrite giving out the wrong time. I also had connection issues towards the end. I’ll be running it again regularly so hopefully I’ll get more people.
Leave that baby alone, these girls are deadly when the want to beOh, dear...
I'm glad your other neighbour isn't doing heinous things with his roosters.Wow, I’m tired today. I went to my neighbors house and cleaned up for her. Fed her animals and mine. Cleaned her coop and mine. Went to town for groceries for her, and myself. Repaired her broken gate. Talked to my other neighbor (the one with the roosters) and found out his intentions. (Raising them for sale and not cockfighting) now I will be working into the night, designing the new coop for the littles. (After I make myself some dinner)![]()
