Thank you for the kind words.

I struggled greatly with that very thought at first, going on 4 years now, but after listening to them it is truly their problem and not mine.

They are very shallow, unhappy people. When Donald Trump got covid they were happy about it and wished him dead. I don't care who the person is, you don't wish someone dead.

Tax?
I must admit that, though I didn't wish Trump dead, I did wish him very, very sick in the hopes that he would learn some humility and empathy. 😇

It is hard not to blame oneself when people are nasty to you.
We can't help thinking"What did I do to them to make them hate me?"
I'm glad you now know that it's the way they are and has nothing to do with you. Some fruits are just naturally sour. :hugs

Hoping things start looking up soon. ♥️
Thanks. We actually finished board meeting in time for me to let the chickens out for an hour! Bridge is on my lower leg, her favorite spot.

As far as stress outside of work, it’s just a wake-up call that I am responsible for my own happiness and I know there a certain people I cannot count on. It’s better to really have a firm understanding of that now instead of later.

Sounds rough.

This is what happens to Fat Bird.
Mostly normal but feet too close together but tail up and head up.

She can turn her head either way and stay balanced.

Here she's taken a few steps and is reaching fro some grass. Head and tail starting to go down and she wobbles.

She's got the grass, head low and her tail is very low now

Head and tail coming back up.

Head and tail still coming up and about to take a step.

Taken a bit of a step, wobbled and her tail drops.

She fell over. She got up again of her own accord and staggered over to my feet. I picked her up and sat her on my lap for a while. When she wants to be taken to the coop she makes a quiet escort call.

She's a beautiful bird Shad, that sounds heart wrenching. :hugs
How is her eyesight? Her eyes look "stare-y" to me in the photos. Could she have had a neck or back injury that caused a bit of inflammation?
All the hugs for you both. :hugs:hugs

Brilliant! Please give my congratulations!

Shame about the judging getting in the way of chicken appreciation.
I know right? They were taking forever!
Wow that's so cool!
I'm sorry you didn't get to enjoy the chickens, but thank you for sharing the pictures you were able to take! 😊
Youngest says thank you for your comments and is now all embarrassed. ☺️
