I just wish mine had some to play in. My ladies are keeping the backyard mowed short. Even having them in the complex for four days want enough to give the grass a head start. I'm starting to worry about them over harvesting the yard.
My babies are doing a great job of making their yard their very own by turning it into a mud pit :th

Just buried Lock. Goshawk got her.:( It was quick at least. Mag and I will miss her most.
She's got her piece of walnut for the ferry man and is buried just behind the tribe coop.

Not having grass isn't a bad thing. There are lots of other options for the yard and chickens. Moss is a good one, you could look at dragons blood as well.

Good morning to you too! Has been productive already. Walked the dogs, ran errands, went to gym. Hubby made french toast for the boys and cleaned the coop. Might be able to relax the rest of this beautiful day!!
Lucky you Lady, I take off at 0:900 for patrol today. My service mechanic is waiting for me, but he can wait,, My chickens, and BYC friends are important to me! And he gets paid to wait, so.... No problem!
