Of course, Sammy is also gloating that his wattles and comb are bigger! And he’s not even pure leghorn...

I think he’s lovely and it’s a great photo of you both! I am staying away from leghorns though, as I don’t want the reproductive issues my Isas are subject to.

I’ve got a photo of Lucy looking very muddy like Sammy, but it’s not as clear as it could be as the phone camera wasn’t great and I’d zoomed in. I can still post it though.

He was about 30 metres away. Bright and glistening plumage. I knew it was a special moment, so I didn't take my eyes off him and tried not to blink. He ran so fast, he was gone before I knew it and I was left staring in his wake. I saw him from the window of a hotel room near the LCC airport in KL, I was on my way to Paris to visit my friend Kathy, and between flights. Even though I don't believe in omens, that flash of rooster felt like one. I hope his jungle is still there and that his children's children live on.

I thought this chap. He's called Treacle. He has got some problems though. His obsession with footwear verges on fetishism.

He has a fine set of hackles.

The truth of the matter is he thinks he's having sex.
I've had a couple like this. they grow out of it once they get their own hens. It's one of the behaviours that get reported as aggressive on the general boards.
