Left (formerly 4) is Anjou (a variety of pear, but I'm pronouncing it with a long a like "yawn"). Right (formerly 3) is Daybreak who's nickname is strawberry beak.

They are lovely names. Well done

We just had the consult with GI.

He goes for an upper endoscopy and a colonoscopy tomorrow afternoon. They are looking for any signs of bowel death from the inside due to the aneurysm.

If they find bowel death then it's off to surgery to open the vessel. If they don't find bowel death then they have to figure out what's next.

Stay strong for him Danielle. We are praying for you both.

Tranquility

After a crazy day there is nothing like a quiet moment with friends. I challenge everyone to turn off the TV or radio and just watch this 1 minute video.

I got my chicken chores all done.
Coop clean up, Sprayed the roosts for any possible infestations, put new play sand in the run, (for dust bathing the littlest two)
Then me and my tribes all went on a bug hunt! Great fun, lifting boards and boxes to watch the Chooks attack the bugs underneath . Not quite roosting time yet, so I'm taking a break.
