Whatever. It's rather like putting the toddlers to bed. The grown ups are sleepy way before the babies who fuss for the sake of fussing. :lau It never lasts long because it's so dark already when they start.
Not just toddlers. My Roadrunners are like teenagers. They are up really late and disturb the sleeping grown ups when they go to bed and then they like to sleep in and have to be kicked out of bed when the big Princesses want to get up and start their day. :lau

In the same boat - yesterday I started at 5am and didn't finish until 9pm and I am like a damp dishrag today. The fluffy butt pictures were from earlier in the week - I got no time to spend with the ladies yesterday.
Fortunately I have painters working outside and they let the chickens into their yard and fed them shrimp(!) and locked them back in when they left. So grateful!
That is a long day!
I've been chin deep in paperwork and numbers for weeks now, whereas I'm glad to be busy, I could use a breather....and I could do without waking in the middle of the night mapping out my next tasks!

In chicken news - Meatbird got put of the chicken yard and into the dog area. Thankfully I spotted her before the pups did.
Need to do some updates here....

I'll have some cake too if it's homemade :caf
