I've had some dreams about trying to protect the other chickens. I have been skipping over pictures of the two for now. We saved some of their feathers and I plan to bind them together with ribbon. I think what makes me most sad is the others won't hop on my arm to be pet. I have to scoop them up manually and they aren't my biggest fans.

I do have plans to set up official commissions later this summer, but if your interested in an image you can pm me.

I am 90% sure 1 is a silver laced Wyandotte. 2 on the other hand is some silver laced easter egger anomaly. I am hoping for their heads to finish soon and want them to sprout some muffs.

I miss how little mine were....and that was just February!
Clinically certifiably chicken crazy over here.

Congrats on first eggs

So interesting that other chickens are
getting odd feathers, Brennas one gold feather was very obvious this morning.

My girls have continued to escape most mornings I am hoping the most recent gate blockage works.

Rosie is still broody... starting to worry about her condition. I thought she was coming out of it a few days ago, but now she seems as deep as ever.

Rainy and breezy here this morning, hopefully we will get a good break at some point so I can make Rosie come out and bathe at least.

Do keep us updated on Rosie. I hope she remembers to take care of herself.

Now I happen to think the CDC does the best they can with the information they have...

our family all agreed we already knew you're not supposed to kiss on them, and we did it anyway.
