Nope, she is teasing me. AND reminding me that I promised her blue or green eggs from the EEs.She's just trying to keep your feet on the ground so you don't crash if they turn out brown.
It is nice to be able to touch her.I love it when the hens are broody, lots of pats!
Really beautiful flock!Sure, I would love to!
This is Bistro in the foreground who lays lovely blue eggs. Clara (left) is sharing a drink with Isabella, with Ruth in the background.

This is Rema. I just noticed yesterday that her wattles are a different size. I wonder if that's common?

This is Rosa in front and Louise, the Buff Orpington. I have four BOs and Louise is the only one who has never been broody!

My first thought was Aurora. But it could have been Hattie. Hattie was very aggressive keeping her from the coop the other day and Aurora was very good with Sydney and the chicks. Lilly was very mean to Sydney. Lots of possibilities sadly.Hmmmm I'm looking at Sansa.
I'm so happy. You are lucky. It seems like you have a good vet.My sick chick is doing better. Once she recovers I will treat you all to a naming ceremony.
Chicks hatch 8/2. I can't trust her with eggs. I'm going to try putting live chicks under her at night.Awww… so cute! When do the eggs arrive? Or do you have them already?
There is now. That’s great. Is there feed and water in there?
Alex, I believe that. ALL I have done is give up my ONE cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning and take a break from work.A vacation would help quite a bit!
