Lovely photos. Were the roadrunners run off our were they otherwise engaged?
The roadrunners were very busy with a particular clump of weeds that seemed to require their attention!
I don't think they would have been run off - they would have been permitted to join at the edge of the group (much like roosting - as long as they clearly know their place they are tolerated).
One thing is strange to me is that I have never seen the roadrunners sunbathe. Maggie is a real sun worshiper and will often take a few minutes to stretch out even when it is really hot out. She is often joined by Elizabeth and Diana but they are much less into it than she is but the roadrunners don't seem tempted at all.
They all dust bathe often in batches and sometimes all five together (which is why I don't think they would have been run off if they had wanted to join in). But no interest in sun bathing. Strange.

Glass China and plastic appears from everywhere in my garden. Sometimes really old thick glass that isn't made anymore.

On Friday I found an old tie in the earth. I hope I don't find human bones. It's really weird how these things surface

I hope she's ok
Broken glass and china come out of the ground at my place, too. It’s so odd.

Speaking of blue eggs… I can’t believe I keep forgetting to share this. So my cream legbar lays blue eggs. They’re actually getting to be pretty decent sized eggs. However they do appear white on the inside. It looks like the color is added at the end, just like with brown egg layers. They’re also starting to fade, like I have seen in some of my brown egg layers.
My Easter Egger, on the other hand, lays a slightly greenish blue egg. They are smaller, but the color runs throughout the entire shell inside and out. Any thoughts on this? I thought all blue eggshells had the color throughout. Nope. Does that make Flash a fake Legbar?

What am I going to do with Jeanette’s chickens?

Could be separate tribes - you could give them a segregated area in the barn.
I was thinking the same kind of thing. Put up a temporary fence between the flocks until they get used to each other. If you are renting out the property next door again you will certainly want the surviving chooks under your care or you won't get any sleep from worry. :hugs
