The girls are unsure, did a few inspection pecks then hoofed it into the cubby because it started to rain again. I’ll watch them over the course of the day to see if they figure it out

Looks just like the one I have (reminds me I need to clean it out). That white 'hood' over the hole keeps the rain out - seems to work quite well.
