This is probably a dumb thought and sharach will more than likely shoot me down in flames but Himalayan salt supposedly helps us humans with hormonal issues, would a tiny bit of this help chickens I wonder

Get a grip, you are not doing him or yourself any favours.

I learned this the hard way. Now when I gift them they get so excited ever so happy and really appreciate my efforts.
They know they are loved and are today far more independent and mentally much stronger.

I love my baby they have learned at last that you cannot buy love and shouldn't use a loved in as a meal ticket

Of course. The truth is, his car is a hybrid, so buying gas is not a regular occurrence, so you don't need to worry about him being too pampered. he is excellent at setting himself goals about how to earn enough for items he wants...which means working and lots of waiting.
Don't worry! He is a good kid and the gas thing is just a running joke about how he "outsmarts" us.

My problem is, my sleep patterns are all out of wack. The sun setting early in one state, and rising quickly in another. Depending on my location.

Glad you're back safely, but the visual of chickens rushing to rescue you made me giggle.
Then again, my chickens rushing to greet me makes me giggle too.
