My problem is, my sleep patterns are all out of wack. The sun setting early in one state, and rising quickly in another. Depending on my location.:th
Best practice is to go outside and get as much natural light as you can and to eat and go to bed according to the new time zone.
Melatonin can help you get to sleep if that is an issue and is a naturally occurring compound in the brain to signal sleepiness. Its effects wear off rapidly so it is just to get you to sleep.
Mind you, my experience (which is a lot) is not with state to state but continent to continent where you really need to adjust massively.

They'd be correct. I'm comedic gold.
Honestly, now that I’m back in town, everyone switches gears and “oh boy, Alexander is back home. We better watch our P’s and Q’s” maybe there’s some truth in that. I am the only retired US Marshall in the area!

For me, the eating scheduled accordingly to time zone is key.
