Yes, the white netting is an "electronet" Poultry Plus moveable fence. Powered by a solar/chargeable 12 volt battery. Remember Peanut got zapped a while ago? I got a non-electric fence ready to go as an inner barrier, but ended up never setting it up because they all avoided the fence after two more zap incidents shortly after Peanut's. It's been clear they know about the fence and where they can be. They will forage about a foot from it at the closest point, and they don't stay there long. I think they've learned from eachother about it. Maybe they hear the slight click it makes and that reinforces the training. They don't "free range" outside their moveable runs without me nearby due to hawks, so they can't be near it without me around anyway.

I pick dandelion leaves near to the fence for them and they watch me while foraging some waiting for me to bring them over to them. Whereas when I pick from other places they come running over by me and also pick.
It seems like an excellent solution.

#4! She doing a thoughtful commentary on the taste of the treats. Wait - does she work for Michelin? 🤔 😆
I love her furrowed brow. Cracks me up. 🤣

Lilly is a very serious lady. There is not a lot levity in her personality. It is hard to wear the crown with this lot of lunatics.

I think you
That is exactly why I was asking. At the moment I have only the non-electric version set up. They don't go over it but it would delay a fox maybe all of 2 minutes!
I was going to set up just a single hot wire outside it - but I do have about 100' of electric netting similar to yours. Maybe I use that instead of a single or double hot wire. Mind you, I need more than 100'. Hmmm.
I was delaying connecting anything just because I still have to dig the drainage ditch around where the ground wire is but maybe I should just put the fence up and be done.
In my opinion, you should put it up and worry about drainage later.

When she learns how to cook, and can fly an airplane, mow three acres of lawn, rebuild an automotive engine, transmission, and keep clean fingernails.
( is that too much to ask?) :old :lau
Perhaps.

I owe chicken tax for this.
