A fox will chew through chicken wire. Easily. That's why you should use hardware cloth.

Dogs (fox) deserve a much worse reputation than they have. They do kill for fun.

Not all dogs!

There have been some vile encounters here, but I can assure you my dog and the dog's I have had has never hurt any animal but this old boy I have now has been hurt by dogs.

Last month two dogs almost killed a small dog after they escaped their garden and tore its leg off.

I put such cases down too the owner's because a lot of these people that have dog's but cant be bothered to spend any time training them then just leave them outside with no such thing as a walk so imo feral dogs are 100% the owners fault.

Dogs need socialising.

I can’t get back to sleep, I have tried. Sinus pressure and anxiety I guess. What’s up with Ruby? She’s not my chicken, but I care about her too, very much! I feel privileged and sorrowful at the same time. All my chooks are happy and healthy but my BYC friends are losing their poultry pals (feathered friends) and I’m totally helpless! It’s breaking my heart !
