Whilst I can’t complain about the rain, it is hampering my run-strengthening efforts.

Some of your terrain looks much like the terrain here. They were just busting to get out weren't they. This is the second after work runaround this week!

You’re welcome.. and thank you! Thanks for all the detailed pictures! It’s lovely!
Me too! I recommend...I like the idea of keeping roosting and nesting separate.
Interesting that Lilly called and then stopped on the apearance of Aurora. Fat Bird and Ruffles used to call for each other when there was just them left of the tribe. Because it was unusual circumstances I didn't give it much weight.Concern for Each Other
Yesterday seemed to be a good day for the flock. They seemed to spend more time as a threesome. There was rain off and on all day and they would duck under the coop whenever it got heavy.
Late in the day they were hanging out when the skies really opened. This time they did not respond as a flock. Lilly and Hattie sprinted for the safety of the coop and Aurora came running to the Big Coop. She started pecking at the door and I let her in, of course.

Once Lilly discovered that Aurora was not with them, she started calling to her. She kept up calling until Aurora, having eaten enough worms, went back outside and ran to join them.
