Minnie Update

This one is a little long… nothing in the second half to keep watching for.

Here she takes a step:

I left her outside in the grow-out coop, which lives in the run. She’s surrounded by her flock/tribe.

Judging by the advice I receive on my draining ditch project I would say chickens are experts in plumbing!

They are always there to help me dig trenches, so maybe worms ? Doesn’t matter, as long as they are there with me for company!

In reality, we moved out in the eighties, only went back to visit family and for my sister's wedding. LA area, she scheduled it for January so my Dad could survive the heat. Took the kids to the beach so they could experience salt water....they were having a ball, soaked, shirtless, rolling in the waves ....walking back to the car, we passed 2 people in marshmallow coats, fully zipped up. It was a balmy 75F. Hit a blizzard in Idaho on way home, 18 inches of fresh snow and still coming down.
