@Marie2020 you have done a marvellous thing for those girls. I’m sure they will settle down in time 💜 seeing them basking in the sun is beautiful!

@BY Bob your babies are growing so fast! Me and Violet watch the videos of them together. We love their little peeps 🥰 I hope Phyllis and Sydney have sorted out whatever the problem was!
New cameras are cool too 😁
After I wrote about the aggressive one , I went outside and picked her up onto my lap. I know this will sound crazy but I talked to her.
Alex will understand....

I explained that I'm the top chicken in this flock and i won't stand for bad girls. As I spoke she stopped struggling and looked at me, then the cheek of it all, she fell asleep for about 15 minutes. The I brought her inside and put oil on her comb and wattles, she seemed to really enjoy it. :D

Next I brought the timid one onto my lap, and she pecked me hard on my lip and arm., I'm thinking I should seek a councillor because I was abused . Then I brought her in and she sat with me and the dog before I oiled her and she relaxed

I do understand!

I love their tails. I really love that they will roost on me for long periods of time. They are sweet though and not really giving me any trouble.

Not perching on your head yet?
Come on ladies - an even better view from up there!
Is it just the camera angle or is little Sylvie catching up in size now?

Oh dear I am sorry. Could you separate the aggressive one for a few days so that when you re-introduce her she is bottom of the pecking order?
This is all a learning process so sharing my thoughts...

She's improved slightly since this morning. I'll see how she's tomorrow or Tina will be alone as she's not introduced yet.

They were both out this evening and both ate well, i parted them this morning too let Tina eat.

I will try them all together in the garden tomorrow with treats, if Agatha starts being brutal again I will put her in the green crate with hay for tomorrow night.

I acquired this crate from the pet shop so she'll have too stay in the spare room and I'll try not too cuddle her because she has too learn.

She was so sweet too me this morning after i wrote in here, so I just have too try to keep her and pray thing's work out, if not there's a farm with pet chickens but I really hate that idea. The farmer let's them roam freely and I worry about foxes.

I think Agatha is older than they told me, this is the problem, it would have been a better situation if she had been the 18 months and small like my other girls.

Wow! This is a lot of praise for a word. You know my device did not recognize it as a word. I was a little concerned that it might be a k instead of a c but I got it right!

I did NOT have to look it up. You're right it is a very good word and encompasses the meaning quite nicely. I've used a few words unknown to the phone dictionary...usually had to go look them up just to double check the spelling...andc ant remember what the last word I used was...sometime this summer..
...

Tax: Thing, before she started getting all the spectacular color

For the bad news: Jaffar is being a pain in the butt this morning
A church friend is in the hospital with Covid (bad breathing problems) she’s getting treatment, but it’s not really working.
My friends son is in India, doing missionary work, and has a positive case of typhoid fever 🤒
And the fires are getting very close to my mountain property in the Sierra highlands :barnie
Life is a battle my friend

I really hope your church friend recovers, it's said that if you have covid your immunity is more than likely too protect you, let's pray this is the case

I don't know anything on beating typhoid :(

:ducJaffar be a good boy for your daddy or it's the green crate for you along with agro Agatha

A few weeks ago an old class mate of mine died. She had been in hospital for a long period of time. Her partner told me about six weeks ago that she couldn't get too see her, as it was by arrangement only and no one was able too pick up the phone. All I know is she was on kidney dialysis and had breathing problems. :(

Today i was told of an old acquaintance of mine that had died, I've known his family forever. His old mother will be mortified as will his sister, his brother was really quiet when I saw him today.

I was only talking too them all about a month back, it really threw me hearing this news, it really shocked me, he seemed fine back the but died the following week.

All we can do is appreciate the time we have left and try to be kind to each other
