I know it's fluffy butt friday, but I did a little photoshoot with the silkies. I finally figured out to keep them from running around like crazy and being fuzzy blobs when pictured. Place them in a tree! Poppy and Lil Bit thought I had lost my mind but Branch is a little ham. He posed for me and stayed in the tree until I removed him. They are 4 months old in 4 days and these 3 have me wrapped around their extra toes.

I’m pretty sure that Beethov-Hen is starting to lay again. She hasn’t laid one egg in over a year. But, she’s squatting for me, her comb is bright red again, and her voice sounds kinda broody.
FBF picture of Beethov-Hen going in the laying box.
I thought surely she turned rooster on me. :confused:View attachment 2852250
There is a golf ball in that box. If she’s broody, and wants to hatch a golf ball (Tiger Woods would be proud) :lau

The photos turned out great! I'd say your photoshoot with the silkies was a success!
