(Which turned out perfectly fine to our chicks currently) but i need to refresh my memory, does anyone have some extra info about incubsting these guys, if its different then normal incubation? She is a beauty! Could she be a lavender orpington? Her body style is a lot like my buff oringtons. The grey hen. She is the only one of this breed. So far I haven't seen her in a fixed roosting group. She just seems to fit in where she can. She's apart from the others a lot when out foraging but doesn't seem to be at odds with any of the other hens. Henry doesn't pay her much attention. Not sure what that means atm.View attachment 2855468
Mine too....in the doghouse, in the cat house, under the spruce tree....the ground in the coop (after excavating)...Count yourself lucky. There are several spots around my yard they have chosen to use at times.
Wow! did he put a extra layer of Comb-gel on today?Hi everybody!Erm,sorry late Monday mugshot! Oh god I had to run catch Era in his most fantastic (really stupid)position.I guess it’ll be acceptable Bob?View attachment 2855899
Plus, if the run is covered with a roof, gives them extra space to get out of the rain...Do the prefab then. I do like them having a run with the coop. You just never know when you might need to keep them contained for a while.
