I don't use feathered cat toys.You wouldnt imagen how many feathers ive collected! I have the puff baby ones from when their young and the huge ones now, 3 totes full Of them!(bonus, they work for awesome cat-toys if you wrap it with string around a small stick!)

Yes, ive heard people say that, i agree with you. But our cat does not hurt any birds, shes very gentle. We dont put her out and trust her of course, shes fine with the chickens, fine with wild birds, shes perfectly fine. And has been using feathered cat toys. I think it depends on the cat and if their more wild born kinda, if that makes senseI don't use feathered cat toys.
I may be wrong but i think it could encourage them too play with bird's and result in killing them.
