Still use the tactic. Sand, kitty litter (non clumping), bale of straw, firewood...puts weight in the back (or switch on 4-wheel drive)

Fascinating! I never knew how a Scotch egg was made. I always assumed the egg was raw and never understood how it got in there!

I know some people use them in wood stoves.

They get used in pellet stoves. Regular wood stoves use firewood. The pellets are fed in via a hopper.

Awww thanks for asking. She looks a mess with her molting but she is zipping around and digging stuff up with great energy. I did manage to sit out with them a bit this afternoon but she didn't oblige with a poop of any kind so I am not sure if she is back to normal. I will try and do a crop massage in the morning if I am up to it. She looks fitter than me right now!

Exactly. I am more and more inclined to plan it. I was just just checking on import permits. It might just be easier to move to Italy. This makes it sound pretty good.

This sounds really nice. I wonder if you could visit? Or at least that region. My family on my father's side is from the area around Macerata! I've never been there.

My tribe decided to go visiting today.

No idea how often they've done that, but these neighbors will feed them peanuts and bird seed and enjoy watching their antics too. They also enjoy the occasional dozen eggs.

Michelle, does it matter that it's a pellet or would ordinary wood shavings work too?

Wood shavings work, too. I just like the pellets for ease of use. I believe they sell the shavings (more like a course saw dust) loose, as well.
