Ok, it’s still dark, but I need to walk the dog. Off to don a headlamp and grab poop bags and a leash.

I love the reflective things I get to see when walking with a headlamp. For one, the dew drops make everything shimmer. I bet that’s where the idea for reflective paint came from. Also, this time of year, where the leaves are dry I get to see lots of little spider eyes sparkling like diamonds or crystals. The beauty in nature astounds me every day. I know I have some chicken tax for some of these last few posts, but I couldn’t help myself.

Sunrise after dog walk.

My husband bought me a new bike yesterday, and we’re going for a bike ride with our daughter this morning. Since we’re not leaving for an hour, there is time to sit with the chickens with a cuppa coffee while everyone else is sleeping. It’s still a little early to get them them up, but I can do it soon. I’ll probably post a video. Sorry if I’m being obnoxious this morning and hogging up the thread! Lol!
