I'm so worried for you BobBoth Gone
I believe from this video that they are both gone. Sylvie would have certainly reacted to Lilly's approach in some manner.
I may not be back to the thread until the weekend. I just don't know. I just don't know.
This morning I am so grateful to have managed to keep four hens thriving.
Poor Sylvie and Legertha
Poor hens in Florida.
I'm deeply sorry for this loss. Both Gone

Those cross-rafters at human-head height are what they roost on, correct? You might think about making something so they are out of the drafts right at that level. Do drafts come in and go up by them through that human door? (next to the fire extinguisher, which is a great thing to have by the way). It doesn't get that cold where you are, but maybe it does get windy? That would increase the effect of cold.Maybe cover these areas with tarps? What do you think?View attachment 2901025View attachment 2901027
This has really made me feel sick.Is there any news from Mrs ByBob? Has she done a head count? Are both of the tinies definitely gone?
Hawk attack. The Tinies got separated from each other. They've died from stress or shock or injury. We'll know more next week once Bob's home to look them over. This has really made me feel sick.
I couldn't work out what happened. This is deeply upsetting, heart breaking![]()
