I hope so BobI am reaching out to raptor rescue to see if they would take it. The problem for me is that it is illegal for me to even trap them. That would include a net. I love this idea of moving it. Maybe raptor rescue can help me.![]()

That's crazy. I would gamble on lead poisoning from a shotgun pellet.A few weeks ago I found a deceased hawk in a tree. It was very odd and so far, it's still up there.

You are not dumb. They are hard to identify.I don't know one hawk from another. I know I'm dumb
I really would read the conditions for getting a permit to get rid of it - they include threats to livestock and property.I am reaching out to raptor rescue to see if they would take it. My eyes are not that good at long distance eitherYou are not dumb. They are hard to identify.
I Like the way you think. If, by chance, the hawk happens to fly into your shovel and get a boo-boo, s/he could be placed at the side of the road near a run over squirrel or such. Blunt force trauma is blunt force trauma......![]()

I think you might qualify.
To me what makes this one a notable threat is that it is not afraid of being around people so you have no ability to 'scare it away'.

Rc you're a life saverSo do I'm but keeping quiet hereI Like the way you think.![]()

The biggest problem is that there is no way to safely discharge a firearm where I live. I could not kill it if I wanted to do so. Perhaps trap it but killing it is not really practical.I really would read the conditions for getting a permit to get rid of it - they include threats to livestock and property.
