And weirdly, she is having a sun-bathe every so often, in the I've-just-had-a-stroke-and-fallen-over-sideways position. I would have thought if she was in any pain or really sick, sun-bathing wouldn't be high on her list of priorities?

Mrs BY Bob plans to go out while sunbathing. I don't know if that information helps or not?

Phyllis spent quite a bit of time just watching Betty explore.

I just had a thought Bob. What do you think about putting a length of wood or lattice under the Cluckle Hut at that cantilevered end nearest the camera? Make it shorter than the length of the coop on both ends so the chooks can chase each other around it without getting trapped in a corner?

Like this:

...but without the deadly weapon.

Edit for clarity: make a short wall from the ground right up to the base of the Cluckle hut so they can't jump over.
