I may be spelling the name incorrectly but in Spanish or at least Tex-Mex slang it means old man. Given his appearance he has a few years on him. I should be able to get some pics this afternoon.
I think it is spelt: viejo

I was called a vieja by my YPP students (troubled & pregnant/parenting teens in a special GED program) I figured if that was the worst they called me, I was doing Great!❣️ Note, I was only 35 - 37 at the time, such an oldie.:old:lau

At times for certain. And she should. Hattie lost her position by not alerting the tribe to danger. Aurora has worked hard to be #2.
I was about to let my gang out yesterday when I realized the crows were kicking up a ruckus, I stopped and looked up and around, and there flying over the bush behind the barn was a big Red Tail Hawk.

Thank you Sir Edgar Allen Crow 🤗

Love the crows and Jays they are good alarms, Pangoo is really getting used to paying attention to them.

Happy Pony Sunday

Yesterday was my thoroughbred mare Reenie's birthday. She decided that her feet were cold so she was standing up on Mount Poopmore. It's always amazing to see her stroll up the narrow frozen path we use to push the wheelbarrow up, and then nimbly turn around at the top and not fall off the edge.

The chickens took one look at her up there and ran back in the barn sqwaking at me to get rid of the big blue monster on their playground!

I think the real reason Reenie went up there is that she sees the chooks up there having fun 😊

Hardly any snow! Nice! Looks like lots of great places to ride also.

What sort of predators do you have there? It looks very open with hardly any trees, I bet coyotes, do you also have bobcat?
