Vitamin D is OK but I would avoid zinc as they can get zinc toxicity.
When chickens swallow screws and other hardware it can kill them by perforating the GI system or because they absorb the zinc and it knocks out something - I think kidneys.
If the only Calcium Citrate you can find comes with zinc then I would go with calcium carbonate (readily available as antacids for indigestion). In the US the brand is Tums - it may be a different brand in the UK.
Thanks RC, I will phone too make my order to make sure it's the right thing. I need acv so have to go too them

Yes, the boys do fight… it happens, it is natural.
Yes, but in nature (not our altered settings for them) Rarely do they fight each other to death....many times the 'loser' chooses to run/hide and look for hens and territory elsewhere. AND they generally only really fight at the normal mating season, not year round.

I agree whole-heartedly with the stiffer penalties thought. Really, a bribe is double the penalty of having multiple animals fight to the death?

But then, humans have been barbaric in this regard for centuries. From Romans in the colosseum forcing prisoners to fight wild animals to public square guillotining and hangings to 'lynching parties'. Very
sad sometimes what we call 'entertainment'. I can't even watch boxing!

Tax: Some Fluffy bottoms for Friday :)

You are so kind trying to help, it maybe another problem but I very much appreciate your thinking on this for me

The original tums have been discontinued. There are chewable and flavored options on looking further theres calcium with fillers sweeteners and fillers. :he
I have been searching so hard that I'm mentally exhausted and could just fall asleep

Metals have a bad effect on me but i would risk a little aluminium for a little booster of calcium in my own body
