Leaving for work yesterday, glanced through the hedge at the neighbor's pair of horses due to lots of movement catching my eye. There LOTS of horses...did she get more? Uh oh, they're headed down the drive and turning onto the gravel road loop.

All 7 of them (too spread out for all in 1). Come to find out they belong to get another neighbor, up the creek. And the gate was left open. In the past, they've headed for my place (before we bought it). They were doing so then too, until they found the pair of horses in the way...got excited and went for a run. They turned into the yard of the neighbor with the cows and settled to graze, so (I'm guessing as I left for work) were easy to round up and get home.

I got some new pictures of the chicks this evening after I cleaned their brooder. They are growing fast. Ezzie is 5 weeks old and the others are 4 1/2 weeks old. We are in the middle of a cold snap at the moment but Wednesday it is supposed to be back to 70. If it reaches that they are taking their first field trip outside for a hour or so. Soon they will be ready to spend their days outside and come back in at night. They still like to give the camera evil looks.

Wow, has it really been that long 🕰️ already? So many feathers so quickly...your little babies are growing up, soon they will be 'mini-me's❣️

Some of the Roosters know their names and come when called, a few of the Hens too. Jimmy not thinks the “what’s that” is what dandelions are called… oops. But if you need to remove the dandelions from your yard I now have a goat rental service… lol he goes crazy for them! And today Arduinna broke her tie out cable… I’m not sure how or how we are going to fix it until DH goes in Tuesday for shopping. We got some new to us harnesses from a local dog momView attachment 3039197View attachment 3039198View attachment 3039199
Wow! I have never seen one of those cables break like that before. That is something!

That's some pony Sunday for certain!

I don't have any ponies,so I am 'ponying up' some chicken photos.

One of my older girls. She is 1/2 Ameracauna or EE, 1/2 DC

My DC boy:love. It's a bit hard to tell in this picture, but his wing on the far side is down a bit. He is 'nonchalantly' trying to close in and circle me here! Fortunately I'm wise to him, ;)
