Well, it looks like I'm going to get my wish with her coloring. Now to keep hoping that I'm right and she is in fact a girl.

It was +17C here today - but the wind was wild, and we had a huge cold front move in and the temps are dropping like a brick down a well.... Ahhhh the joys of Spring in Canada.

You do know that Rue is french for road right?

So is he a Road Chicken - Or is this a case of 'why did the chicken cross the road'?

Or is it rue in the english meaning of 'rue the day' or to regret something? maybe the chicken rued the day it crossed the road

I think Coco (the nut) is trying to be broody. She picked a popular nesting box and covered herself with wood shavings. And she’s pancaking solidly inside! Oh boy!

My gals do that every day hahaha - I tell them 'dream on'..... then I offer them a treat and they come barreling out!
