I don’t know what happened. She came limping up to me, and the other birds were trying to attack her. So I took her and Jaffar inside.

I couldn't find the thread but I have found the picture. This is quite an old picture. I looked much like this until I reached 60ish. A heart attack and a couple of bad injuries took their toll. This was taken before I moved to Spain and the location is one of the islands off Sicily. The caves in the background are where they used to put the Mafioso they caught. My girlfriend at the time took the picture. I think my daughter has some more recent pictures, but in general I try to avoid having my picture taken.

She’s with me tonight. (Can’t tell if chickens are in pain or not) she’s eating meally worms just fine. And drinking. Jaffar is now back in with the other ladies.

Betty is Sleeping on a Time Bomb

I did not get to collect the eggs before nightfall. There are over 20 now.

Why would she choose to sleep on rocks like that?

The Hooligans moved to their new home inside the Chicken Palace this afternoon.
Goodness what a fuss they made as I moved them. But they seem to appreciate the branch to perch on.
The adult Princesses are ignoring them but I noticed Minnie chose not to fly over and roost on her own right by the brooder which she does most nights.

I love their improvised ladder to get on the branch! They seem quite happy/content in there

Bella flies straight to the branch from the floor. Bernadette fell off a couple of times and was like a kid at the playground going down the slide - she ran to get back up the ladder! Lulu has been strutting back and forth along the branch like a model on a catwalk.
I love how they already have their own personalities.
