My friend went into hospital with a heart problem, she's out now and 4 other's have been suffering with the strangest headaches ( what is peculiar is they cannot establish where the pain is in the head front back or side) and awful stomach problems. Two tested positive for covid but they should be okay because all have had their jabs. My other friends brother had a blood clot on his brain he had a bad reaction. He's only 23

The medical system is so much more advanced now so I'm hoping everyone will pull through
Oh dear, no matter how advanced medicine gets its always limited by something 😢 I just always worry about things myself...

I am sure glad that your friend is out of the hospital and hope they are ok.

Wow. That does look good. Their store locator says the nearest available to me is in Washington state!
So, I was meaning @micstrachan regarding 'close by', but, there are stores that carry it closer...just not 'close'.. to you......as I would have to go to PN or Western NY:

I will take two dozen hatching eggs, and train them to attack the trespassers or in-laws… whichever seems most inconvenient to me after they arrive! Mwahahahah!!! I shall take over the entire island with my army of poultry, possibly mounted on the goats, if I can get enough of the Ferals to cooperate. And the store thought the turkeys were scaring off the customers? Wait until they meet the feral Emus and Cassowaries!😂😉
You’re awesome Kris, I’m so glad you’re back! :hugs

I had to look them up. I have never seen one. Apparently there is a dwarf type. I am thinking bantam. No evidence of a frizzle version though.
A frizzled bantam cassowary, now there’s a conundrum! Do you cuddle it, or run away from it? Or cuddle it whilst you’re running away from it?!

Silly tax:

I guess if I have to be out for a day I could put an adult one in there on a temporary basis. Their whole living space would be feeder - but they probably would be happy with that!
You could get one of those long trough chick feeders, place it along a side. Do they make half ones, where along a side wouldn't take up much room?
