@micstrachan please take this to heart. You are doing the best possible for your tribe. Please don't overreact with what you are feeding them. There are things at play here where you don't really have control. I truly beleive that.

A frizzled bantam cassowary, now there’s a conundrum! Do you cuddle it, or run away from it? Or cuddle it whilst you’re running away from it?!
You could get one of those long trough chick feeders, place it along a side. Do they make half ones, where along a side wouldn't take up much room?
