Little fluff update: not so little anymore, Sibling has a very pink comb for a little “girl” and fingers are also crossed on little fluff…

Good morning! It was a very warm day yesterday, when I get home tonight from work I will need to open all the stall windows in the barn, and fix the hen house windows so they can't 'fly the coop' out of a window. Need chicken wire put in the window as I don't trust them not to peck through just the mosquito screen!

Thirsty Thursday

Awwwww 🤗 adorable

Sooooo, seems Curly might be going broody - again.... if I can get a project here working for me home I might give her a few eggs to hatch - maybe some black copper Marans... ?

Do you guys think she (a silkie) can sit on 4 eggs of that size?

So is he an Ancona? Or still a puzzle? (Good name, btw ;))
I'm actually leaning towards Exchequer Leghorn, it is even lighter (weight wise) than the Ancona. However, considering how heavy the BCM are, it could still be either (trying to compare...). I'll have to wait until he gets a little older...like next molt, to have a better idea.
