Question: when invited to a dinner party, is it customary to bring a gift?
(My pastor has invited me to a special dinner at his home.)

I usually try to bring something. Not too elaborate. Sometimes I bake something or bring a houseplant. Wine is good but I donā€™t know enough about it!

Only by my experience.
I've had many more of those experiences than good ones.
Recently I have tried my hardest too help someone who I thought of as a decent person, they're going through a deeply emotional and very hard time. Now it will take me a lifetime to repay the kindness and loyalty this person continues to show me. Sometimes a friend in need can become a really good friend for life

When you get one person that appreciates even the smallest thing you do for them IMO it more than compensates for the 10 or 20 that takes you for granted.

I just noticed while watching the other videos that Aurora laid her egg in nest box #1. Phyllis is sitting on it. I can remove the egg in the morning but will it be spoiled?
If she has been on it less than 24 hours, it should still be okay. Much more than that and it will really start to develop. (though in some places, a chick in an egg:jumpy is a delicacy:sick
