A "Turkey" grad (he got nicknamed Butterball as a baby cause he he got basted twice a day in an eczema battle. Got shortened to Turkey as he grew...he still answers to it, too) headed to a Tech school on a full scholarship View attachment 3129025
(Note the socks)
Hey congratulations! That's splendid and so are the socks 🤗

Not available in Canada without a prescription from a vet… oh the tyranny!
Luckily I don't need a script only a call to my Veterinarian up the road 😁.

After 35 odd years he knows I will ask for what's needed, or get him out for something more serious. He is semi-retired now only taking on the more quiet horses...

Wait… is that where you are? Hubby is Canadian and was born there!
Yes 💖 steamy Ontario right now... Went from 15 to 30 on two days, then back down to 18 by Thu... Stupid weather this year. Either just stay hot or stay cold.

This up and down is hard on livestock, and people!

Where is Canada? BC?

Edit: meant in Canada, not is Canada 😆

Headcount tonight, three still out. Found the little rascals out on the other side of the yard. I tried reasoning with them, but they refused me. All I did was pick up the garden hose (not running) and I never saw three chickens run so fast back to the coop. Where Coco is involved, there is always static! (She’s such a nut) now Arizona and Dakota and Coco are perched on their spots too!
I have one like that, always the last one to bed... Tonight they can stay up late, I will be working on the run fence so they can stay out with me if they want.

It will be stinking hot and humid anyways so they may as well stay up a bit...

Ok I went back and dug through my archives of pictures for these 3 on Pony Sunday.
First up is a picture I took about 8 years ago of one of the horses that used to be at the barn. Taxi was one of the horses Rosie first fell in love with.

And finally, the horse that caused me to get a phone call from Rosie's head start teacher. When the vet is out Rosie has always been his shadow watching whatever he does. He was out to geld Meditation. The vet joked to her when she asked what he was doing and said "Meditation is having his nuts cut out". The next day her teacher calls me asking "who was Meditation, and why was she telling the whole class he had his nuts cut out." Yeah, you have to watch what you say around a 4 year old because they will run and repeat everything in class.

Hahahahaha yup gotta luv kids 🤗

My 3 yr old niece told my blacksmith once 'Dinarah is a girl, do you know why?' she has boobies'...

Of course I almost had a stroke right there, but John he took it in stride laughing telling me, he had 3 daughters 😁

Kids, and animals - never a full moments!

BTW all those horses are beautiful 💖

No, I mean he was born in Regina! His dad was from there originally. Hubby has lived in Regina, Saskatoon, Kindersley, Calgary and I forget where else.
