Wow, it looks great! Very attractive, fits right in with your color tones, and would make a wonderful place if you need to separate a chicken for some reason (but still have them 'see' so not isolated. You are amazing! I, unfortunately, don't have the patience for such fine painting. A drip here, a drip there...ooopsRehab the Prefab
Since last Friday I have been on a quest to rehabilitate the old prefab coop from 2013. I promised Mrs BY Bob that I would beautify the backyard this year. So I decided that it rotting away in front of the shed was unattractive. I thought that I could paint it in a day and be done.
Right
I finished the majority of the work last night. I did a quick assembly this morning before work.
I also decided that I wanted to make it pretty so if I use it then it will not "junk up" the backyard.
On Monday my dad was over and told me how insane I was to be wasting so much time on it. This was while i was using a small craft brush to paint the corners of the peach panels.
"Just paint the whole thing with the spray gun and be done. The chickens don't care."
Mrs BY Bob cares.
What do you all think?

There is still work to be done. The nest box is missing 2 bolts, has no floor and no roof. It needs a new coop floor and a new ramp.
Despite that I think I have saved it for a few more years. The run is in much worse shape and will need wood work to be made whole again.
I read this could be one of many things. Foods being one she's a battery hen and maybe the lovely foods like sardines even eggs could have created this. I'm treating her for a bacterial infection and will see if I can get her wormed when this treatment is done
Scrambled eggs are very good, also I think Michelle gives her kiddies sardines. I would see if he eats some of those high calorie foods.Jaffar is weak, and his keel bone shows out. He has to be hungry, so why doesn’t he eat? Any suggestions to make him eat? Please![]()
Even when it seems like it may take forever, I always try to remember that something that makes your partner happy is never a waste of time but a work of loveOn Monday my dad was over and told me how insane I was to be wasting so much time on it. Awww, I love the pictures of Mal. The two of them look like they were at their rebellious teens here (meaning: almost at POL) Aurora looks so much less stern here, something about youth makes them look more 'rascally' and less matronly or less stern - depending on the hen. Thank you for sharing!
No need to pause...I can insert foot as well as the next guy.I was already to jump as you know this is my world, but I'll pause.
Coccidia
They are not bacteria. They are multicellular organisms. Much like giardia.
Yes she should be concerned about re-exposure as well as the temp.
