I think there might be ways of keeping her warm in the coop. Hot air rises. With a mild heat source at ground level (like a cat's plug-in warm bed) it might be warmer on the top perch of the coop? You know your own place so I'm sure you'll come up with other ideas for warming up her spot in the coop. Or you could keep a gentle heat source in her crate and put her crate in the coop?
It would be a stretch getting electricity out there, it's right at the bottom of the garden. I like the idea though, rather than separating her.

What happens when you smother her favourite treat in bird formula? Does she eat it? You might get more in her that way.
She's not eating any of her favourite things at the moment. :( She did have a dig through the scratch this morning but I don't know how much she actually ate, if anything. The interest was there though.

I don't think I've ever seen one of those! Great way to get the excess off the roller when you are finished! :bow I'll have to look for one now!
(I still don't think it will prevent my extra drops or sags here or there, though  )
You could make one of those with a coat hanger 🤔 if you had to.

Great idea! I remember Bob Johns recommends adding salmon to scrambled eggs. Just from the cheapest tin on the shelf, not the good stuff.
I'll get some on the weekend.

So, I took Snowy out first and the two Faverolles attacked her! And I thought 'if she's the healthy one, what are they going to do to the sick one?!' So I got my trusty fence panels and halved the run, putting the floofs in the back part with the coop and the Faverolles in the front part, with food and water. They're going to want to go to bed before I get home but they'll have to cope. I just didn't want them attacking Lottie.

I have one of those radiant cozy coop heaters, I had my two silkies broody for about 5 weeks in Feb Mar and I kept it in front of their nest box to keep them warm as it was brutally cold this winter, and they had plucked out feathers to line the nest 😖

If you can run an extension cable down your garden one of those would likely work wonders. Is it further than 100'? I don't think cables come in longer lengths...

I was very relieved to hear Jaffar crowing out in the yard. I had thrown out some scratch with safflower seeds on the ground and the chooks started scratching around for it. Jaffar started feeding as well. Now, they are all chasing June beetles, that started showing up today. I’m keeping a close eye on the little guy today though.
Actually, he’s doing real good today now. I think that he’s okay to stay in the coop for tonight (With his ladies)
