Good morning all, @Kris5902 asked if I could post these as her internet is slow, (oh the joys of rural life !!).

This is her wee fella that was born last week - oh isn't he precious 💖💖

@GregnLety don't you want a few of these 🤗

I love the sound of rain
Me too, we have steel roofing so it awesome, but this is just too much, everything is flooding...

I have been counting the lightening flashes to thunder, 4 seconds, but it's just one storm after another rolling through. It's never ending since about 3 pm yesterday.

The horses are clean though 😁

Lottie’s fading. 😢

I’ve got her wrapped in a towel in my arms. Her head’s gone all floppy but she looks like she’s taking breaths through her mouth. She’s been doing that for the last half hour. 💔

:hugs :hugs So very sorry, Lozzy! So sad and hard, when there’s nothing more we can do to help them. Rest In Peace little one. Hugs to you, Lozzy :hugs :hugs

Minnie’s crop was empty this morning. She went to bed with a normally full crop (not mega bloated) so I was optimistic.
But yay!!
I have no idea what of the various treatments worked but I don’t care. They worked!
:yesss:

I just gave her last dose of miconazole so I will start to feel less like I am running an infirmary.

Now she, Maggie and Dotty still have diarrhea which is how this all started, and I still have weirdly walking Bernadette. But at least I am not syringing and worrying about every bite of food.

Back to diarrhea. Is it possible diet is part of the problem? They are all on chick starter which is very high protein. But they are foraging a lot because the weather is good. Hmmm.
Yay to a functioning crop!

Yes, I think diet can be a factor with diarrhea. When the mill that was making the organic soy-corn free food I used to get switched from milo to sesame meal, half my flock got poopy bums right away.

I think Marty's crop was sluggish due to sunflower seeds, I haven't given any treats for the past couple days and I have been massaging her crop, I feel it is softer and not as big.

I tried the coconut oil and it was a big hit with everyone but her! I shoved a few chunks in her beak though which was fun! Wow for a small bird she sure is strong!

If it ever stops raining so I can chop the grass down on there run I will be happier, not worried about long grass causing issues.
