I loved my flock of 6! They were enough of them (all pullets) for safety in numbers, but they could also break into smaller groups. Plus individual attention is easy to give to 6 versus the 20 I have now.

My sweet Abigail laid green eggs. If she laid a heavy bloom on them they would be blue in certain light. Her "sister" EE laid a brown with white speckles egg.

I'm hoping for color with my newest EE girls. They look totally different then either Abigail or Kitty did.

I'm hoping colors come for you. Please keep us posted. Hopefully I have sucked the entire 5% brown layers for everyone here. You are all welcome!

This is where it starts, i was whinning about the storm bearing down on us. Then i went to bed and there were 30 posts before i got on this morning and then i had some more posts, one imparticular is very long chock fulla the insanity i endured. Ive been thru the wringer sir.
