Exactly. And they have a different *Good Morning* call first thing, sometimes before they even see me, letting me know they're up & @ it for the day & where am I?!There are different sounds when they want food, want attention, want out of the run, or even are frustrated by something.
My man, who has been on plenty of farms & wasn't real keen on me having chooks, says he'd never realised how social chooks are ~ really good company ~ & that most of the chooks he's ever known must have been psychotic from poor living arrangements. Even he can tell ours are happy & chatty. They are curious about everything we do.
