I know you feel awful but it's only a couple days. Way better than fighting with her for days. Better for both of you in the end.

That was Close!
There was a massive wind storm last week while I was gone and this fell off the birch tree which sits in the "courtyard" of Fluffy Butt Acres. It just missed the run and coop. I don't know if it would have fallen hard enough to cause any damage but I'm glad it wound up here.

She was in the crate yesterday for only five hours or so (only!) She was still making broody noises last night although I separated them so she wasn’t sharing the other girls’ body heat. The crate’s still in there in case I have to put her back in today.
There are massive Eucalyptus trees in the school yard behind us that overhang our run. I asked them if they could get them trimmed, which they did, but there are still overhanging branches and we get big winds.![]()
Hopefully she will move on. Best of luck.![]()
She's back in there today. It will be for about 9 hours though. What do I do if she's still broody tomorrow?
Put her back in the crate. You are comitted now. She should break soon. I know it's hard. Mal made me sad but we have to be tough for their sake.
Agreed. I think taking her in and out if it will compound the problem.
