I'll have a look for your post. It's another of those things that has according to conventional wisdom, been bred out of the chicken if one accepts they had it in the first place.

I finished peeling the eggs and i canned the first 11 jars today.

Does the vinegar peeling work with chicken eggs as well? Does it just take a little longer? I just steamed up some Christmas laid eggs, and they were still annoying and didn’t peel well...

As to the pack hunting business... yes they certainly do seem to coordinate their attacks and use tactics to corner and dispatch their prey. And you let those little velociraptors cohabitate with you @Shadrach! Luckily you seem to be closer to a part of the flock rather than some hapless prey animal... still you may want to sleep with one eye open!

Just as many of the eggs as ive got, no jar limit. They were pretty well stuft down in there but still only about 24 per jar fit.

I think the last time i did peel any chicken eggs was Easter almost a year ago lol

For quite awhile ive been selling all my chickens eggs and only having the family eat the quail eggs cuz theyre better for you and better tasting.

I've been busy over here. My next door neighbor and I are both building second coop's for our chicken's. Hopefully we will be able to get them done before it rain's again. Our 4 extra roo's just left tonight for the new home. I had to go into town today to get the money order and mail my payment for my 2 dozen Naked Neck hatching egg's that I'm getting shipped from Florida. I should be able to crank my incubator back up again soon.
