Hope everything works out well!!!Thanks for the info! So we saw Dr Nikki and I said how I was thinking about maybe another week of antibiotics and then the implant. She gave Chickie a check-up and said she didn’t appear to be unwell like she was the last time she saw her. She thought she wouldn’t need the antibiotics but said to keep an eye on her and if she seems unwell to call the practice and they will give me the dosage. We booked her in for Thursday and as it’s the Australia Day long weekend, she can’t order an implant until Tuesday. She’s put implants into ex-battery hens before and said sometimes one implant is enough as the hen’s egg cycle shuts down naturally whilst the implant is in. Everyone keep their fingers crossed for her!![]()
