Thank you dear friend. Jaffar is not well, but not dead. I actually let him sleep next to me on a sheet on my bed. He's still resting 1 meter away from me. I really love that bird Jaffar!

I just want Jaffar to be happy again. I miss his crowing.

I sure didn't see fly strike coming!

I didn't even know it was a thing with chickens. I couldn't believe my eyes when I bathed Zen and there were maggots in the water.

I felt so guilty

Omelette the Hen - Mayor for a Day

Today we went bike riding.. there is a really nice trail near my sisters that runs for miles.. when we came to the town we stopped at a cafe and got snowballs.. and that’s when I met Omelette! She has been living here at the cafe for 5 years... and she is 10 years old! Of course when I saw a chicken I had to go see her... I sat down to talk with her and even shared my snowball with her ... she was adorable! She must be pretty special here as the local college kids came and built her coop! Jaffar is quite fond of my Rhode Island Red hen, So I confess, She's right here too, on the bed next to him. I am at my desk now.

Bob, I love my animals so much, I can not help but blame myself for their sicknesses.
my obsession with chickens is taking a toll on my personal life now, and that's not a good thing!
