I like it!I have worked out that Mary is very special because not only is she the blue ribbon layer, with 13 eggs in 13 days, her holidays are so long, she'll live to... 25 years old![]()
I missed this post. I still keep having issues with posts not showing in my thread and then I go find it after seeing a reply. I have a whole bin of “chicken towels.” Though in winter, I share them with the dog as I often have to hose her down when she gets muddy and then love her up with a towel before I cut her loose in the house.I keep chicken towels and wash them.
Fascinating!Any electric current flowing along a wire produces an electric field. It's my belief that most other creatures can feel the magnetic field. The donkeys won't try to breach the electric fences here while they are on. As soon as there is no current flowing the seem to know and the walk through the fence dragging out the posts on their way.
Sad, but true!I was told there wouldn't be math
Another kind of chicken math
More eggs/year = production hen + laying issues which leads to shorter lifespan.
Mine, too!Oh, so cute! How old are the littles? My littles are 7 weeks...
I have an old Jag hand-me-down from my parents that has been sitting for 5(?) years undriven. I shudder to think what the rats have done under the hood.Any old E-Type Jags?
