Fascinating, Shad. To my ears, the general alarm call sounds much like the egg song. I have a video of what I think you are calling the warning call. When the warning call is sounded, they all (mostly?) go perfectly still. You could hear a pin drop! I’ll try to find an upload and you can say whether you agree. The aerial call is super obvious and if I attempt it, they run for cover. I’m not sure of the ground predator call, unless it’s continuous deep clucking?

I never heard an alarm call sound like the egg song.. until I saw TRUMP doing it one day... I wasn’t sure what he was doing but figured it was some sort of call.. this is it.. of course as soon as he sees me he stops! Someone else was calling at first too... but after you can see him checking the sky... I also thought that Claudine and Clementine might have been hiding as well.. but they also may have just been cooling off

If you zoom in you can see it better... I don’t know why but lately my videos have been coming out blurry after I post them to YouTube...

Mine will all stop with an alarm call if they see me. I think they feel safe once I'm there. Quite like my dog. They are calling me to their defense.
