Sadly, I do not have video but tonight I was sitting out in Aurora's new chair when the first of two hawks flew over the house. Hattie made the same low sound only as I caught in the video only a clipped a little short. Everyone froze. That hawk was followed by a second hawk. Hattie made the exact same sound again. The second hawk circled back while being chased by crows. The same sound again.
I think I now know the sound for an aerial predator.
I had been hearing the scree of a red trailed hawk earlier in the day. I told Hattie to be on the watch for them.I'm glad she followed my advice.
The advice I got from Dr Kevin was see how she is; it may just be trauma that she will recover from or she may develop pneumonia.

I would keep a very close eye and ear on her. Did Dr. Kevin say what to do if she started to develop pneumonia?She sounded a little rattly this morning. I called the vet surgery, our favourite vet has gone on maternity leave!

Yes, if she has pneumonia from aspirating, aggressive antibiotic treatment will be needed. Don't wait too long.
